A 1950s Bassett lowboy, admire the mahogany flowing drawer faces. Mid century modern simplicity at it's finest.

This piece was made in 1955, Thomasville was known to make some of the finest furniture in the United States. I could endlessly talk about this piece. Legs and hardware were original.

transformations

here’s a fully refinished mid century modern tallboy dresser, made in 1949, i picked this piece up in extremely rough condition and essentially rebuilt it from the ground up. though it still shows some minimal signs of wear, it’s now in one of the best condition pieces i’ve had from this time period.

unknown manufacturer, 1949

freshened up this piece to the best of my ability with a solid wood base and new hardware. The piece itself has a solid wood construction and exposed mahogany on the top section that glows so gorgeously alongside with some contrasting wood stains.

new maple sides & top, custom poplar base.

several iterations, i got it with no base and revamped a base off another dresser and decided i needed to start from scratch. all drawer glides had to be replaced alongside some new hardware. felt endless but here we are

cody sourced this piece and did a bulk of the work. you can expect to see more of his work scattered in upcoming listings or pieces.

we stripped it down, added new legs & hardware. client requested we go with this design and color, so no, it’s not available. we all love how it came out.

Some of the most gorgeous walnut I’ve come across. Hardware & legs are original, top is a laminate material which left me to paint it. Finished in beeswax.

The sides and top of this piece were unfortunately a laminate material, leaving me no option but to paint the bulk of it, however it’s a solid wood construction on the inside as well as the drawers.

It was absolutely still sturdy and awesome. The legs are original and solid maple, which really nails that sturdiness. Hardware is original.

This was a 6 drawer lowboy, the legs and hardware are original. Found it in near perfect condition and got it refinished for Vahid.
